Matt and I both ran cross country for Westmont College, and we both ran at Nationals. We were very excited to learn that XC Nats were being held in WA this year! We packed, and I mean packed, the car and drove the two hours south to cheer on our beloved school and see Russell, our coach. We drove through a lot of rain on our way there but other than a few sprinkles during the men's race it was a dry day! Reese really enjoyed watching the race and cheering "Goooo Westmont! Faster Faster!" She shook her cow bell every time the runners would come by and just stared at them in awe. When the two races were over she said "More Westmont! More runners!" She loved it! While I repacked the car Reese and Daddy ran a 600 around the track with Reese saying "Reesie run Westmont! Reesie fast!" It was soo cute and Matt and I are already dreaming of the day when we get to cheer her on.
