Walk for Babies!!
This was our experience with "walk for babies" last year. It was at Point Defiance, with just Matt and I on the team, it snowed and Reese slept the whole "3" miles. Today we are headed out for a 6 mile walk with our 19 month old, two families are joining us and we are hoping for sunshine!

Her own sense of humor
This is a new sound she makes to make us laugh! IT is too cute when she does it just to cheer us up. It is not as cute when it is prompted by mom....but you get the idea! I love that kids come up with their own ways to make us smile that only each family really "gets" or understands.

All things water...no bubbles please!
Reese has always loved water! In fact she now can tell when we are close to the Y and starts to ask to go swimming. When Reese is whinning, we fill up a bucket, pool or bath tub and that keeps her happy for a while. She has another cold so last night I thought she might enjoy a bubble bath. She loves the water and she loves playing with bubbles BUT apparently does not like you to combine the two. Reese only stayed in her bath for two minutes asking for "up" the whole time! She sure is starting to develop her own, strong opinions!

My new trick
We recently found out that Aunt Kacy might be having a girl. So Reese and I were sorting through her baby clothes looking for some good ones to pass along. Reese found this dress that is for 3 month olds. She insisted on putting it on no matter how many times I told her it was too small....some must learn by doing! So I put it on her to discover that now it fits her as a cute spring/summer shirt! Sometimes a stubborn toddler can be helpful...sometimes.
I wish my new trick was doing her hair. This was my first attempt...the piggie tails stayed in for about 10 minutes. Hopefully we can find some cute things to put in her hair that she will love and want to keep in.... :)

Beach days
We had our first warm beach day today!! Reese and I headed to Grammie and Gramps's beach today after naps. We dug in the sand, combed the beach for treasures, bird watched, stuck our toes in the sand and ended the day with the arrival of Daddy, Sebbers and sandwiches! Thanks mom and dad for sharing your beach with us! We love it!
